The Tensen Family Reunion, which began in the summer of 1977, has been a cherished quinquennial event, supported by the love of Tensen Family Members. As we look forward to the next family gathering in 2027, this event remains a highlight among Cove Oregon events, providing valuable family gathering information for attendees.
The first Tensen Family Reunion was organized in 1977 by Betty (Tensen) & Grant Rinehart, Tiena (Tensen) & Bill Bothamley, Louise (Tensen) & Bob Peterson, and Dick George & Margaret (Sarazin) Tensen. Next year, in 2027, we will celebrate the 50th Year of The Tensen Family Reunion, which will be an exciting highlight among Cove Oregon events. Betty, Tiena, Louise, and Dick George were the four children born to our Founding Grandparents, Dick & Hilda (Lafrenz) Tensen. We are all descendants of Grandpa Dick and Grandma Hilda Tensen, and we look forward to sharing more family gathering information as we approach this milestone event.
